INTRODUCTION

Getting to know the birds of Colombia is sure to be full of adventures. This blog wants to accompany you on your wonderful travels through the country, where you can meet hundreds of species of birds and trees associated with them. Trees, those protagonists in the life of birds, are their source of food, support, shelter, breeding site and home.

The bibliographic reference that I will work all the time will be my book "Colombia. Los Colores del Bosque. The Colors of the Forest". This was done in the company of León Morales, my husband, a wise connoisseur of trees, and Daniela Londoño, an exceptional photographer and great friend.
 

Conocer las aves de Colombia seguro que estará lleno de aventuras. Este blog quiere acompañarte en tus maravillosos viajes a través del país, donde podrás conocer cientos de especies de aves y de árboles asociados a ellas. Los árboles, esos protagónicos personajes en la vida de las aves, son su fuente de alimento, sostén, refugio, sitio de reproducción y hogar. 

La referencia bibliográfica  que trabajaré todo el tiempo será mi libro “Colombia. Los Colores del Bosque. The Colors of the Forest”. Realizado en compañía de León Morales, mi esposo, un sabio conocedor de árboles, y Daniela Londoño, fotógrafa excepcional y gran amiga.
