Arboretum Medellín

Teresita Varón: La Ceja, Antioquia, Colombia; About me: I am where the forest is. I love natural places, full of life ready to be discovered. I studied Forestry Engineering and Forestry and Environmental Conservation at the National University of Colombia, Medellin. I was a professor of Dendrology and Silviculture of natural forests in several universities in the city. I am a writer and researcher, all about trees. My last publication is an illustrated book "Colombia. The colors of the forest". In my daily life birds are always with me. And now that I live in the Bosque de La Cristalina Natural Reserve, La Ceja, birds are my immediate neighbors and permanent companions.
